We are located at approx. 2 hours from Munich and Stuttgart, and 1 hour to Lake Constance and the King's Castles. The Autobahn A7 or highway B12/B19 bring you close by. This means our infrastructure is great but you are still enjoying all the advantages of an idyllic vacation.

How to find us
Take the A 980 to the Waltenhofen exit and from there, take the B19 in the direction of Immenstadt/Oberstdorf and at the "Sonthofen" exit to Bad Hindelang / Bad Oberdorf or via the A7 to the "Bad Hindelang-Oberjoch" exit near Oy-Mittelber. From there take the B309/310 to Bad Oberdorf. In almost all cases, despite the proximity of the hotel to the A7 (about 30 min), the way via Sonthofen is faster and easier, especially in winter.
ATTENTION: The Jochpass will be completely closed between Bad Hindelang and Oberjoch due to the Jochpass Memorial at the following times:
- Friday: 1:00 PM - 7:00 PM*
- Saturday: 7:00 AM - 6:30 PM
- Sunday: 7:00 AM - 10:00 PM
*Additionally, on Friday from 8:00 AM to 1:00 PM, the section between the roundabout near the gas station and the turnoff to the Hindelang bus station will be closed.
Friedrichshafen and Memmingen airports are both less than 100 kilometers away. There are regular flights to Memmingen from Hamburg, Bremen, Cologne/Bonn and Berlin. A shuttle brings you inexpensively to our doorstep - please ask us for special offers. Munich airport is also not far away at just under 200 km.

Direct connections from all regions of Germany to the main station in Sonthofen, the vacation destination, just 7 km away. Take the vacation bus to Bad Hindelang - Oberjoch (stop DAV, Jubi) or Bad Hindelang - Hinterstein (stop Bad Oberdorf). It leaves every thirty minutes. Or take a cab to Bad Hindelang. For stays of 5 or more nights, we are happy to book you a cab ride from Sonthofen and back free of charge.
On the European Long Distance Trail E4, the 240km Maximiliansweg from Lindau to Berchtesgaden (the entire E4 includes the route from the Pyrenees to Crete). Sonthofen, 7 kilometers away, can also be reached via the European Long Distance Trail E5, which leads from the Atlantic Ocean to the Adriatic Sea.
